Mr. Anil Kapoor is well experienced young development professional, peace activist and human rights defender having more than 9 years of professional experience serving downtrodden and vulnerable segments of society. He has been functioning to encourage peace, preserving the human rights and also involved in various social, peace and harmony activities in the Pakistan. He has focus on welfare of weaker section of society specifically vulnerable and under privileged women. He has done a Masters in Business Administration from University of Sindh Jamshoro, Pakistan. Owing to his personal interest in foreign and international affairs, he pursued double Master’s Degree in International Relations (I.R), from the same University.

Mr. Kapoor is passionate to contribute to an endeavor for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He has been contributing to the growth and success of social sector and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) for the past 9 years. Out of these 9 years of job tenure, his services comprised of senior managerial work. It has helped him in fulfilling his passion for the development of society, personal milestones and successes. The key strengths and major highlights, as he believes, of his professional career have remained in taking command of programmes and project at various levels. Designing, developing, leading and strategizing programmes/projects for higher levels professional of achievement have been the major part of his professional journey.

At young age, Mr. Kapoor’s aptitude and work on variety of social issues attracted the attention of many national and international organizations. This ability is endorsed when he was selected as an Executive Member/Think Tank of Special Cell, International Human Rights Commission in 2015. His efforts are recognized by the International Human Rights Commission and appointed him as “Goodwill Ambassador for Youth Worldwide”. He also served as Provincial Executive Member for Sindh Youth Committee (SYC) in program Pak-U Report initiative of UNICEF, Pakistan. Moreover, He has participated in Commonwealth Youth Forum (CYF, 2015) / CHOGM2015 in Malta (Europe) as Commonwealth Youth Delegate and added the global value for peaceful and inclusive society. He is privileged to be certified as “Global Youth Ambassador” at “A World at School”. It is a network of over 550 youth ambassadors in 86 countries around the world campaigning for all children to realize their right to go to school. He is the recipient of Award Royal Associate Fellowship- Royal Commonwealth Society (RCS), London and DICE Fellowship Holder at DICE Fellowship Programme British Council Pakistan 2019.

Mr. Anil Kapoor is the Founder and Chairman "Enabling Society Foundation (ESF)/NGO" based in Hyderabad Sindh-Pakistan. It is a human rights-based organization, officially registered under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. He has been working since 2016 to promote inclusiveness, shared values, diversity, and interdependence. He also served as motivational speaker, consultant, and lead facilitator at BRITISH COUNCIL, FRIEDRICH NAUMANN STIFTUNG FOUNDATION (FNF) and SCHOOL OF LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION (SOLF), UNFPA, UN-FAO, UNHCR, UNESCO, UNICEF, TROCAIRE, IDARAC, AGA KHAN UNIVERSITY (HEALTH SCIENCE DEPARTMENT), ROZAN, AAHUNG, WE CAN.

He got an opportunity to speak and participate in several regional, national & international forums to share his experience on the role of young people in peace building. He has also contributed in crafting several national and international policy documents related to youth, peace and combating violent extremism to prevent it for confirming Peace.

Research Interests

As part of his community and sustainable development work in different projects and programmes. He has widely been engaged in primary and secondary research for Conflict Management, Peace-Building, Education, Women Empowerment, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and Internal Displacement Persons (IDPs) in flood emergency situation in Pakistan.
