MPhil Candidate, Faculty of Education

After a first Masters' degree in International Relations, my interest brought me towards a bottom-up perspective, rather than the more institutional one gained during my studies. I worked for almost two years with a grassroot NGO involved in supporting refugees in the mainland camps set up in Greece. There I set up an education programme and became passionate about education in emergencies, and especially in refugee contexts. This eventually brought me back to study, and I am now completing an MPhil in Education and International Development at Cambridge Faculty of Education. I recently concluded a field research for my thesis, on teachers of refugees in Lebanon.

Research Interests

My interest is in forced migration, refugees and more generally displacement, on one side, and Education in Emergencies on the other.
