Educational Mentoring Coordinator for Refugee Support Network


Giulia Clericetti is currently the Educational Mentoring Coordinator for Refugee Support Network, managing their metoring programme for young refugees in the Oxford hub. She previewsly worked in Greece with the NGO I AM YOU, setting up and managing an education programme for refugees in a camp. She believes in the complementarity of research and 'hands-on' work: she participated in and co-authored a case study on refugees and digital identity in Italy (here); she conducted a research on teachers of refugees' motivating factors that was presented at the Respond Conference in Cambridge and she is currently supporting the research branch of her organisation (here a rapid evidence review on EdTech for refugees). She holds a Masters' degree in International Relations from Università Roma Tre and a MPhil in Education and International Development from Clare Hall, University of Cambridge - Faculty of Education.

Research Interests

Refugee education, especially teachers' support, and more broadly the fields of forced migration and education in emergencies.
