Hong Jiang

Biography:

Hong Jiang is a PhD candidate at Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge. She has a special interest in oral history and its various application in educational research and practice. Under the supervision of Dr Phil Gardner, her doctoral research investigates student teachers’ training experience in Shanghai, China from 1949 to 1982. As a Mandarin teacher, Hong is also interested in public engagement with Chinese history and culture and works with several heritage and educational projects in Cambridge and London, such as the Summer Celebration of Chinatown Heritage organised by China Exchange.
