Biography:

His main fields of study include Italian emigration, networks of ethnic entrepreneurship, migration, and (in)material knowledge, return migration and problems connected to Italian communities abroad, where he has conducted numerous surveys. Currently, he holds the position of Adjunct Research Fellow within the Department of Social Sciences at SUT and Research Fellow within the Department of Historical and Geographic Sciences and the Ancient World – DiSSGeA at the University of Padua, where he conducts research on the project "Migration flows, economic development and regional identities: from the Northeastern Italy to the Atlantic regions of Latin America".
