The Centre for the Study of Global Human Movement

Biography

I am Associate Professor at the Refugee Studies Centre in the Department of International Development, University of Oxford, where I am involved in two research initiatives. First, I lead the qualitative component of the Refugee Economies Programme, a large-scale multi-country investigation. In parallel, I am the principal investigator of an independent research project entitled Integration of Syrian Refugee Families in Oxfordshire, which I have been conducting since 2017. Alongside research, I teach and supervise students enrolled in the Centre’s MSc in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies as well as DPhil students at the University. I also serve as a course convener for the MA in Refugee Protection and Forced Migration Studies at University of London.
