Biography

I am a development sector professional with more than 8 years of experience in the field of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning, research, advocacy & campaigning.

I am a 2019 fellow for Campaign Strategy Fellowship from Bali, Indonesia. I am a Task Force member for ESCR-Net - International Network for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights that connects over 280 NGOs, social movements and advocates across more than 75 countries to build a global movement to make human rights and social justice a reality for all. Besides, I have been writing for Dawn Newspaper, International Rivers Network, International Collective for Fishworkers-ICSF and other local papers.

Research

Working with rights-based NGOs in Pakistan, climate change has been one of the subjects for the campaigns that I have been engaged with. Due to the adverse impacts of climate change along the coastal belt of Sindh, Pakistan, indigenous people living over there are compelled to migrate from their ancestral land to other part of the country.
