Biography:

PhD in economics with a focus on migration and development. Dr. Samir Djelti is a lecturer of economic geography and migration studies in the university of Mustapha Stambouli-Mascara, Algeria. He has developed the osmosis theory of human migration. As an expert in the Unu-gcm institute, he has proposed a model that explains, measures, and projects forced migration.

Research Interests

Explaining the global phenomenon of human migration by the unifying theory of osmosis based on migration pressure and borders permeability. In addition, explaining the specific colonial and forced migration by the same theory of osmosis (Plasmolysis and Cytolysis theorems).
