Sophie recently completed her PhD on international migration law at the University of Auckland, New Zealand and is currently a visiting scholar at the University of Cambridge, Centre for the Study of Global Human Movement. She was awarded both her LL.B and LL.M in Criminal Law from the University of Leeds. Her main research interests include international labour migration, gender and migration, and the rights of women migrant workers with a focus on migrant domestic workers in the Indo-Pacific region.
Sophie's main research interests include international labour migration in the Asia-Pacific, gendered migration and the rights of women migrant workers, with a particular focus on migrant domestic workers.
