Biography:

Ms. Yeomin Kim works as a research intern at IOM HQ and conducts research on migrant worker empowerment and engagement. Prior to joining headquarters, Yeomin as a migration governance officer in IOM Sri Lanka, where she focused on the promotion of ethical recruitment for safe migration and conducted quantitative research on international border management and qualitative research on migration, environment and climate change. She also has experience with the Salzburg Global Seminar in assisting with the preparation and execution of global seminars on corporate governance and regional cooperation. She recently completed an MPhil in development studies from the University of Cambridge supported by the Korean Government Scholarship Programme for Study Overseas.
