Biography

Raffaela Puggioni has done extensive research on international protection, border politics, identity politics undocumented migrants’ activism and possibilities of resistance. Her works appeared in the Journal of Refugee Studies, Political Studies, Citizenship Studies, and Third World Quarterly and her monograph, Rethinking International Protection: The Sovereign, the State, the Refugee, published in the Migration, Diasporas and Citizenship Series, Palgrave, 2016.
