What do we do?

The Centre supports scholars in creating cross-disciplinary networks and partnerships within the university and with other universities and external agencies. We assist scholars with grant applications and aim to ensure impact. We also promote transdisciplinary teaching and capacity-building for students, researchers and scholars alike.

Partnership, Impact and Collaboration Grants

The Centre for the Study of Global Human Movement has been founded to promote a dynamic, coherent transdisciplinary programme of migration research at the University. In order to stimulate the development of new migration research projects, the Centre has decided to offer a number of small Partnership, Collaboration and Impact grants to members of the Centre that are based in the University of Cambridge.

Cambridge Migration Society

The Cambridge Migration Society was founded in 2015 and is composed of current and former members of the Cambridge academic community. It aims to raise awareness on migration-related issues by fostering exchanges between academia, public institutions, and the civil society.
