Join the Woolf Institute for a film screening of "Ballad for Syria", a documentary film about Maisa Alhafez, a musician and Syrian refugee living in Istanbul.

Following the screening, Dunya Habash of the Woolf Institute will discuss with Maisa Alhafez and Eda Elif Tibet, the co-producers, the making of the film and the role of music in fostering a sense of cultural identity in diaspora.
