The Centre for the Study of Global Human Movement

The third Cambridge Community School Leadership Forum will be held on Saturday 15 November at Cambridge Central Library. The event builds on the success of the previous two meetings aiming to create a collaborative space for headteachers/principals/senior managers of community schools in Cambridge to discuss critical issues in relation to language, heritage and migration, and make strategic decisions on supporting multilingualism in the community. The leadership forum is organised in collaboration with Cambridge Bilingual Groups, Cambridgeshire Libraries and Cambridge Research in Community Language Education, under the auspices of the Centre for the Study of Global Human Movement. The forum is organised around two respective themes: ‘working with local libraries’ and ‘working with local governments’, and features a walking tour of the newly launched ‘Everyspace’ project at Cambridge Central Library funded by the Arts Council.
