Join the Ely Amnesty Group on Saturday 29th September 2018 for a screening of the Oscar nominated animated film "The Breadwinner."
This Oscar-nominated animated film tells the story of Parvana, an 11-year-old girl who lives under Taliban rule in Afghanistan in 2001. After the wrongful arrest of her father, Parvana cuts off her hair and dresses like a boy to support her family. She soon discovers a new world of freedom and danger. Duration 120 minutes
