The Centre for the Study of Global Human Movement

The UK in a Changing Europe invites you to a one-day conference on immigration after Brexit.

The Immigration White Paper signals the biggest shakeup of UK immigration policy for 40 years. The end of free movement of people between the UK and the EU and the move to a new system will have profound effects on immigrants and their families, past, present and future and on the UK economy, business and public services.

Funded by the ESRC, leading researchers from a variety of perspectives – law, policy, and economics – examine the implications. There will be a variety of discussants drawn from policy-makers and the private sector.
