The Centre for the Study of Global Human Movement
I am a PhD Candidate at the Faculty of Law, researching in the areas of human rights law, immigration law and dialogue theory. I supervise in International Law and in Human Rights Law.
I completed my LLM (Master of Law) in International law at Trinity College, Cambridge in 2019 and, before that, I worked as a solicitor in the area of constitutional law for the Australian Government Solicitor. I hold a BA (Political Science) and an LLB (Hons) from the Australian National University.
My research examines how domestic legislatures and international courts interact with respect to the right of non-nationals to both enter and remain in a country. I use the UK parliament and both the European Court of Human Rights and the Court of Justice of the European Union as my case studies.
