Biography

Steve King is Head of Europe and Asia, Education Reform at the Cambridge Partnership of Education. He has worked in education for over 25 years as a teacher, teacher trainer, researcher and education reform adviser. His particular interests include education system improvement and education within international development.

 

Since joining Cambridge in 2017, he has been involved in the development of the Uzbekistan Presidential Schools, the Cambridge partnership with UNICEF in Bangladesh to assist with the provision of education for Rohingya children, and with the Ministry of Education and Science in Mongolia, assisting the Ministry with their education transformation agenda. In June 2021, he was awarded a public service medal ‘Xalq Ta’limi Fidoyisi’ by the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan for his contribution to the development of the education system.
